Find a face to love

A collection that belongs to this browser

Favorites keeps the faces, decorations, and combinations you choose to save. It is a small personal shelf inside this browser on this device. There is no account to sign into and no automatic synchronization between a phone and a computer. Returning in the same browser profile is what lets you find the same local collection again.

That local arrangement is convenient, but it is worth understanding its limits. Clearing site storage, resetting a browser, or using a different profile can leave you with an empty collection. Private browsing may keep a separate temporary collection. If the faces matter to you, export a copy before changing the environment in which they are stored.

Saved and Recent answer different questions

Saved contains the expressions you deliberately chose to keep. Use it for the faces you expect to reuse: a familiar smile, a warm greeting, a clear reaction, or a creation that took a little work. The save action is a choice about future use, not a requirement for copying an entry today.

Recent helps you revisit entries you copied while browsing. It is useful when you remember trying a face but did not save it at the time. A recently copied entry does not have to become a favorite. Keep the two lists distinct in your mind: one is your chosen collection, and the other is a short path back through your recent copying activity.

Build a small set with genuinely different uses

Start with the situations that recur in your own messages. You might want an everyday smile, a sleepy goodnight, a quick wave, and a playful celebration. Several nearly identical smiles can be enjoyable to browse, but they may be slower to choose from when you are writing. Save a variation because it has a use or a detail you care about, rather than because it is merely available.

A compact and a more expressive version can make a useful pair. The compact face fits a short reply; the decorated version has room in a caption or a separate line. An animal collection can work the same way: keep a plain cat portrait and a cat with a waving paw if both suit your conversations. You do not need one face for every category.

Find something in your own collection

Use the collection search when the list becomes long enough that scanning is inconvenient. Try a mood, a familiar label, or text from the expression you remember. If you cannot find it, check whether you are looking at Saved or Recent. A face you copied yesterday may be in Recent even though you never added it to Saved.

When the local list is still empty, return to a category and save an expression you like. There is no need to import anything to begin. Search the main library if you remember a face that is not in your collection. A copied expression from another source may not have a matching library entry, but you can still work with your own text in the generator.

Copy a favorite where you are writing

A saved entry is still ordinary text. Use its copy action, focus the message or note where you want it, and paste. Saving does not install a keyboard shortcut, change your device’s keyboard, or send the expression to another person. You decide the destination and whether the final message should be sent.

Check the pasted result even when you have used the same face before. A different app or font may change its proportions, and a narrow field may wrap a long combination. If a saved face works well in one setting but not another, keep a simpler alternative instead of repeatedly changing the version you already like.

Export a copy you can look after

Export creates a file containing your collection so you can keep a separate copy or move it yourself. Choose a place where you will be able to find that file later. An exported file is not a live connection to the browser: subsequent additions or removals do not automatically update a file you exported earlier.

If you use the export as a backup, create a new one after meaningful changes. You can keep a dated filename outside the website so it is clear which version you want to restore. Consider the contents before sharing the file. Custom creations may include words you typed, and a collection can reveal personal preferences even when it contains no account information.

Import carefully and check the result

Import is useful when you have a supported collection file from an earlier export. Choose the intended file and read the result shown by the tool. If a file cannot be read, keep the original file unchanged and check that it came from the expected export rather than renaming a different document to look compatible.

After importing, inspect a few familiar entries and the collection as a whole. Make sure the expressions you care about are present and still have their full text. Keep your backup until you are satisfied with the result. If an import reports an error or does not add what you expected, a small description of the problem can help without sending unrelated personal files.

Remove an entry or clear a list with intention

Removing a favorite changes the local collection; it does not delete the original face from the public library. You can find and save it again if it is a library entry. A custom creation may be harder to reconstruct, so copy or export anything you want to preserve before removing it.

Batch selection helps when several entries no longer serve a purpose. Check the selected items and the scope of the action before confirming a clear or removal. Saved and Recent have different roles, so make sure you are acting on the list you intended. Clearing a local list does not remove any export files you previously saved elsewhere.

If your favorites seem to have disappeared

First check the browser, profile, and device. A collection saved in one browser does not automatically appear in another, even on the same computer. A private window may also have separate storage. If you are in the expected place, consider whether site data was recently cleared by you, the browser, or a device cleanup process.

If you have an export, use the import tool to restore the supported file. Without a separate copy, the website cannot retrieve a local collection that has been deleted from the browser. Recent or your own messages may help you rediscover some expressions, but they are not a guaranteed backup. Going forward, export the collection when you make changes you would miss.

Keep creating without filling the shelf with every experiment

The generator is a place to explore; Favorites is a place to keep the results that earned a return visit. Try different eyes, a calmer mouth, or a small accent, then save the version that clearly improves on the starting point. You can copy an experiment without saving it if you only need it once.

A useful collection grows around your actual writing habits. Revisit it occasionally, keep the expressions that still feel like you, and let the rest go when you are ready. The goal is not the largest possible library. It is being able to find the right little face when you have something to say.
